Through August 18 we are collecting backpacks filled with basic school supplies for children with a parent impacted by the prison system.

Prison Ministry is collecting backpacks and school supplies, and Walmart or Target gifts cards, for children whose families are impacted by the prison system. Consider teaming up with someone on this project. to Pack in a backpack2-3 Folders 1 Pack of 12 Crayons or markers 1 Eraser 1 pencil sharpener 1 ruler 1 pair of scissors – child-proof or regular 1 small bottle of glue or a couple of glue stick 1 binder 1 regular pack of binder paper 3 spiral notebooks (we add the pencils and pens)
No food and no cash. Any gift cards donated should be separate from the backpack. Bring your donation to St. James Church on Sundays or drop it off in the wooden box on Valley Road next to the Chapel entrance. Thank you for your support! |
