Spring Clean Up, Sat. April 12

On Saturday, April 12th from 9AM-12Noon is our “Spring Clean Up Day” around the church as we prepare for Holy Week. No previous landscaping or construction experience required! If you enjoy working in the dirt or just want to help out, please reach out to Wayne Ruben or Don Nocerino and let them know you are coming! Bagels, Doughnuts, and Coffee/Tea provided to help give you energy!

Family Day.-April 26

On Saturday April 26th at Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Families from Across the Episcopal Diocese of Newark will gather at the Red Bull Arena (Harrison, New Jersey) to fellowship and watch a Major League Soccer match together. Lent Book Study

Our Neighborhood Book Study will use the work by Franciscan monk and priest, Father Richard Rohr titled “Jesus’ Alternative Plan: The Sermon on the Mount.” Richard Rohr explores each of the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount, explaining the historical, cultural and religious context of each verse and offering guidance for what it means for Christians today. He shows that what Jesus offers in the Sermon on the Mount is nothing short of revolutionary. Sessions will be held on Thursday evenings on Zoom at 7:30PM beginning March 13th.

Lent Bible Study

Our Neighborhood Bible Study this Lent is called “Bread of Life: Gather. Savor. Share” from Illustrated Ministries. The world feels heavy—divided and uncertain. Hearts ache, minds seek peace, and souls hunger for hope. This study will highlight how Jesus fed people—not just their bodies but also their souls—with good news, stories of redemption, and parables that showed the way of God’s Kingdom from the Gospels. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays beginning on March 12th. Sessions will be offered weekly In-Person at Grace Church at 10:30AM and on Zoom at 7:30PM.
